Higher education hosting, end to end
University hosting is a different shape to generic commercial hosting. Procurement is formal and slow, accessibility standards carry real consequences, and faculties tend to run their own Umbraco sites on their own upgrade cycles, so multi-site management is the norm. Student data needs careful handling and proper documentation. We built our higher education practice around all of that rather than bolting it on afterwards.
What we run for institutions as standard: named datacentre locations, with a dedicated node in Sydney where residency matters, WCAG 2.2 Level AA supported through editor practice and theme implementation guidance, ISO 27001 certified upstream datacentre partners, data processing agreements with student data clauses where required, structured backup retention with 30-day point-in-time recovery, multi-site management across faculty and project sites on shared infrastructure with isolated databases, and named technical contacts on every account.
