Higher education hosting, end to end
Hosting for universities is structurally different from generic commercial hosting. Procurement is formal, slow and security-reviewed, accessibility standards carry consequences that commercial work does not, and departments frequently run their own Umbraco sites on their own upgrade cycles, which makes multi-site management the norm rather than the exception. Student data has to be handled carefully and documented properly. We built our higher education practice around those realities.
What we run for institutions as standard: named datacentre locations with a dedicated node available in Virginia, Oregon or Canada where residency matters, WCAG 2.2 Level AA supported through editor practice and theme implementation guidance, ISO 27001 certified upstream datacenter partners, data processing agreements with student data clauses where required, structured backup retention with 30-day point-in-time recovery, multi-site management across department and project sites on shared infrastructure with isolated databases, and named technical contacts on every account.
The reviews are about the same things, over and over:
speed of response, depth of expertise, and named engineers who know the platform.
