No. Renewable infrastructure, Ecologi carbon offsetting, and Green Web Foundation certification come standard on every UmbHost plan - from static hosting through enterprise dedicated infrastructure. There is no separate "green tier" you pay extra for.
The 5% of hosting fees we commit to Ecologi tree planting comes out of our margin, not yours.
Our datacentre partners publicly commit to 100% renewable energy supply, with verifiable contracts directly with renewable energy generators or via certified Renewable Energy Guarantee of Origin (REGO) certificates. Ecologi carbon offsetting runs through verified offset projects - primarily reforestation in regions with strong forestry governance, plus methane capture, renewable energy projects in developing markets, and verified carbon credits from Gold Standard, VCS, and other recognised certification schemes.
