Public sector hosting, end to end
Public sector hosting carries different gravity to commercial work. Procurement runs through formal frameworks and open tender, accessibility statements get checked, data residency is not negotiable, security baselines are externally set rather than chosen, and documentation can end up in the public record. We have hosted Umbraco for public sector buyers for years, and the operational shape of these accounts is genuinely different.
Standard for public sector accounts: EU data residency with named datacentre locations, WCAG 2.2 Level AA supported through standard Umbraco editor practice with tooling guidance for your team, ISO 27001 certified upstream datacentre partners, GDPR data processing agreements available before contract signature, structured backup retention with 30-day point-in-time recovery, named technical contacts rather than a ticket queue, and the documentation procurement actually asks for: penetration test history, BCP and DR statements, security policies and a named subprocessor list.
If a procurement requires us on a framework we are not currently listed on, say so during scoping. Framework presence is buildable to a defined timeline.
A body running Umbraco on a setup that has quietly aged for five years, one planning a v17 upgrade and wanting a procurement-clean specialist for the next contract cycle, or an arms-length organisation whose requirements are stricter than its current host can document: we will scope it and quote against the real workload.
The reviews are about the same things, over and over:
speed of response, depth of expertise, and named engineers who know the platform.
What Our Customers Say:
Let's Talk
Tell us which council or public body you're with, what you're currently running, and what framework or procurement constraints we should know about. We'll come back with a scoping conversation. No obligation, no automated funnel.
