High availability isn't a separate product here. It's a tier of GreenStack, our modern Umbraco platform, and two products deliver it:
GreenStack Pro runs your site across two replicas in physically separate datacentres, with automatic failover and a 99.9% uptime guarantee. A good fit for business-critical Umbraco platforms that want HA without building custom infrastructure.
GreenStack Scale adds three or more replicas, dedicated nodes, custom failover configurations and ten datacentre regions worldwide, Sydney among them. Built for high-traffic platforms, regulated industries, or sites with particular performance, redundancy or compliance needs.
Both need Umbraco 17 or above, because load-balanced backoffice support landed in v17 and the HA architecture depends on it.
What "high availability" actually means here
Multi-datacentre replicas
With Pro your site runs on at least two replicas in physically separate datacentres, and three or more with Scale. If one drops out or we're working on it, the rest stay up and your visitors are none the wiser.
Automatic failover
No manual steps, no DNS changes, no waiting on an engineer. If a replica drops, traffic moves across straight away, and nobody on your team gets a 3am phone call.
Zero-downtime deployments
Push new code during the working day without taking the site offline. Updates go through the replicas one at a time, so something is always serving live traffic.
99.9% uptime guarantee
Backed by the multi-datacentre setup above. Both Pro and Scale include the 99.9% guarantee as standard, not as a paid extra.
Dedicated nodes available
With GreenStack Scale your replicas can run on dedicated hardware instead of shared infrastructure. No noisy neighbours, performance you can predict, and resources you can configure.
Load-balanced Umbraco 17+ backoffice
Most generalist hosts can't load-balance the Umbraco backoffice. We can. Umbraco 17 added proper support for it and our platform implements it correctly, so editors keep a smooth run even under heavy traffic.

Every datacentre we use runs on 100% renewable energy - wind, solar, and hydropower, paired with energy-efficient hardware. We chose our partners specifically because of their renewable commitments, not despite them.
Beyond renewable infrastructure, we also offset carbon for every customer through our partnership with Ecologi. We commit 5% of every hosting fee to tree planting on your behalf - typically four or more trees per customer per month, at no additional cost to you.
