Is my data kept in the UK?

It can be, on either platform. GreenStack shared plans run from our UK region, on our own infrastructure in London, so your site files, Azure SQL database and backups stay in the United Kingdom under UK GDPR. Legacy hosting is available in the UK as well, alongside the US and EU. If you'd rather sit inside the EU, GreenStack's EU region in Germany is there too.
