Our legacy hosting packages run on dedicated Windows infrastructure built for stable, established Umbraco sites. UmbSmall and UmbOne suit single-server workloads on Umbraco v7, v8, and v10 onwards. SolidCP control panel, Azure SQL databases, web deploy and FTP, CI/CD supported, and standard CDN/WAF/SSL inclusions.
Umbraco Cloud is the product Umbraco HQ sells directly, including support for v7 and v8 until January 2027 when those projects move to Dedicated Resource plans.

We handle the migration end to end. We pull a backup from your Cloud environment, restore it onto our legacy infrastructure, reconfigure deployment, update DNS, and run a parallel cutover with minimal downtime. Free as part of onboarding. Most v7 and v8 migrations complete within a working week.
Depends on your project. If your site is stable, doesn't need active development, and you're happy running v7 or v8 long-term, legacy hosting is the right choice. If you're planning ongoing development, want the security improvements in modern Umbraco, or have outgrown shared resources, upgrading to v17 and moving to GreenStack is the better path. We'll talk through both options on a scoping call.
Cloud's Git, Kudu, and Umbraco Deploy workflow doesn't come across because it's Cloud-specific tooling. On our legacy packages you deploy via web deploy, FTP, or CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. We'll set this up as part of the migration so your team keeps a working deployment path.
Yes. Isolated environments, automatic SSL, regular OS-level security patching, web application firewall, and proactive monitoring. Older Umbraco versions don't receive vendor security updates but the infrastructure layer can still be hardened. We've been doing this for sixteen years.
