Since launching GreenStack in January, we've been busy. Really busy. UmbPanel — our proprietary control panel for GreenStack — has received a massive update packed with features that make managing your Umbraco hosting easier, more powerful, and more flexible than ever.

Here's everything that's new.

Docker Registry Management

You're no longer limited to a single container registry. UmbPanel now lets you create and manage Docker registry credentials directly from the panel, whether you're using GitHub Container Registry, Docker Hub, GitLab, Amazon ECR, or something else entirely.

When provisioning a new service, just pick your registry from a dropdown. Need to switch later? You can change it from the service detail page at any time. This gives agencies and teams the flexibility to use whichever registry fits their workflow, without needing to raise a support ticket.

Mailgun Email Management

Services linked to Mailgun now get a full email management section built right into UmbPanel. You can create and delete postboxes, reset passwords, and inspect DNS validation records, including DMARC, all without leaving the panel.

There's also a paginated event log with inline email previews, so you can see exactly what's been sent and troubleshoot delivery issues without switching between tools.

SMTP Accounts

Need outbound email for your Umbraco site? UmbPanel now includes SMTP account management with a clear view of your credentials, hostname, ports, and the DKIM DNS record you need to publish. Everything you need to get transactional email working, presented clearly in one place.

Real-Time Container Stats

The old static resource usage snapshot is gone. In its place is a live stats dashboard with four graphs covering CPU usage, memory usage, network I/O, and block I/O. The graphs auto-refresh every 3 seconds with a rolling 3-minute history, giving you a real-time window into how your containers are performing.

It's the kind of visibility you'd expect from enterprise infrastructure tooling, built right into UmbPanel.

Service Access Invitations

Service owners can now invite other users to access their service by email. Invitees receive a tokenised link, if they're not already registered, they're guided through the registration process. Owners can resend, revoke, or remove access at any time.

This is a big one for agencies managing sites on behalf of clients. You can give your client visibility into their hosting without sharing your own credentials, and control exactly who has access.

Error Pages

A small but important detail: UmbPanel now has proper branded 404 and 500 error pages that adapt their layout based on whether you're logged in. No more generic server errors, just a clean, consistent experience.

Security Hardening

We've carried out a comprehensive security review and hardened UmbPanel across the board. This includes CSRF protection on all state-changing actions, XSS fixes, and more. Security isn't a feature you see, but it's one you rely on.

What's Next?

We're not slowing down. Here's what's coming next:

Historical Container Stats: The live stats dashboard gives you a real-time view, but sometimes you need to look back. We're adding 24-hour historical stats so you can review performance trends, spot patterns, and diagnose issues after the fact.

Azure SQL Database Backups: We're adding the ability to export and download a backup of your Azure SQL database directly from UmbPanel. No support tickets, no waiting, just grab a copy when you need one.

GreenStack and UmbPanel are actively developed, and we have plenty more planned. If there's a feature you'd like to see or something you think is missing, let us know, we'd love to hear your ideas.

If you're already on GreenStack, these features are live now. If you've been thinking about making the move, there's never been a better time.
