What We've Built

GreenStack isn't just another hosting platform with a fresh coat of paint. We've rebuilt everything from the ground up using Docker Swarm technology, creating infrastructure that delivers high-availability hosting at prices that won't break the bank.

The core of GreenStack is simple: your site runs across multiple replicas in physically separate datacentres, with intelligent load balancing distributing traffic between them. If one server needs maintenance or experiences issues, your visitors are seamlessly redirected to another replica. No downtime, no disruption, no frantic support tickets.

We've backed this up with a 99.9% uptime guarantee because we're confident in what we've built.

No More Noisy Neighbours

Here's something that's always frustrated us about traditional shared hosting: you can do everything right, optimise your code perfectly, and still end up with a slow site because someone else on your server is hogging resources.

GreenStack's architecture eliminates this problem entirely. Your replicas work together to serve your traffic, not competing with dozens of other sites for resources. Traffic spikes from other customers don't affect your performance. It's the isolation of dedicated hosting with the economics of shared infrastructure.

Deploy Without the Stress

We've designed every aspect of GreenStack around availability, and that includes deployments. When you push updates to your site, GreenStack uses phased rollouts across your replicas to ensure continuous availability.

Your new version deploys to one replica at a time while the load balancer continues directing traffic to the running replicas. Once a replica is updated and healthy, the next one begins its update. Your site remains fully accessible throughout the entire process.

This means you can deploy during business hours. No maintenance windows, no "please check back later" messages for your visitors, no holding your breath and hoping nothing breaks. Just push your changes and carry on with your day.

Sustainable Infrastructure

All our datacentres run on 100% renewable energy from wind, solar, and hydropower sources. We called it GreenStack for a reason. Hosting with us means you're not just choosing performance, you're choosing infrastructure that's better for the planet.

The Packages

GreenStack Core starts at £20 per month and is perfect for smaller sites, development environments, or businesses just getting started with Umbraco. You get solid performance with modern infrastructure, including 15GB disk space, 1GB memory, and all the same Cloudflare security features as our higher tiers.

GreenStack Pro at £100 per month is where things get interesting. Two replicas across physically separate datacentres, 30GB disk space, 5GB memory, Azure SQL database, support for Umbraco 17+ with full load-balanced backoffice, and that 99.9% uptime guarantee. For most businesses, this is the sweet spot.

GreenStack Scale is for organisations that genuinely need dedicated infrastructure, whether for compliance requirements, data sovereignty regulations, or corporate policies. Fully customisable with 3+ replicas, dedicated nodes, and Azure SQL with failover as standard. Get in touch and we'll design the perfect setup for your requirements.

All packages include Cloudflare CDN, Web Application Firewall, DDoS protection, free SSL certificates, and unlimited bandwidth.

You Don't Need to Learn Docker

One concern we've heard repeatedly during development is "Do I need to learn Docker to use GreenStack?" The answer is no. We've handled all the container complexity for you. Your developers can build and develop exactly as they normally would, using their preferred tools and workflows.

We provide pre-configured GitHub Action Workflows and Azure DevOps Pipelines to push to the following registries:

  • GitHub

  • GitLab

  • DockerHub

  • Azure Container Registry

  • Quay

  • AWS ECR

  • ProGet

We also provide our Dockerfile that is ready to go and fully documented. A getting started guide for GitHub is available now.

We have created a GitHub repository to house these files, and we are actively accepting improvements and feedback on how to improve them, you are also free to take our base samples and extend them as you require.

Migration Support

Moving to GreenStack is straightforward. Our team handles the technical details and guides you through every step. Your developers don't need any Docker or infrastructure experience; we take care of everything to ensure a smooth transition.

Available Now

GreenStack shared hosting is available immediately in Europe, with dedicated node options in the United Kingdom, United States, Singapore, and Finland. We're actively expanding our shared hosting regions, so get in touch if you need hosting in a specific location.
