We have been deploying Umbraco onto Microsoft Azure since the early days of the App Service platform. We know what works and what gets expensive, what scales and what falls over, and where the cost savings usually sit in a typical Umbraco-on-Azure setup.
The services we run regularly: Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database in single and elastic pool form, Azure Storage, Azure Front Door, Azure Application Gateway, Azure Container Apps, and Resource Manager templates for repeatable deployments. For Umbraco specifically we handle CDN configuration, media storage offloading and connection string management as standard.
Moving onto Azure for the first time, taking over a brownfield environment that was never properly architected, or running something that simply needs managing - we will scope it, document it and run it.
